Apart from the books I have already posted about, there were a couple of websites that I found invaluable when pregnant. I used them to collect information to plan a good healthy diet, especially at the start when I was so queasy all the time.
When I was queasy all I could stomach was soup with strawberry soya milk (it hid the taste of the soup
). To make the soup more nutritious, I would add silken tofu when blending it and then sprinkle the top with pumpkin seeds (apparently help with nausea), sunflower seeds, any kinds of seeds really!
Anyways, here are the websites which I found really useful, inspiring or comforting when I needed dietary reassurance:
vegfamily.com A vegan parenting site with a huge amount of information, discussion forums and yummy recipes. Has a very informative vegan pregnancy area with articles on everything from vitamins to cravings and dealing with non-vegan-friendly doctors.
Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine Nutrition information for vegan pregnancy and raising vegan children. Contains portion sizes and sample menus.
Vegetarian Resource Group Nutrition information for vegan pregnancy and breastfeeding. Contains charts, hints on putting on the weight, recommended daily servings and sample menus.
Vegan Society UK Info on vegan pregnancy & children.
If there was a site you found particularly useful, please leave a comment & I’ll add it to the list…

The vegan society has a section on vegan pregnancy too as well as a section on vegan children.
