We’ve been replacing the bulbs in our house as they go, the long-life ones are very expensive. They’re worth it in the long term, but with about 18 different lightbulbs in our house, it would cost a small fortune to do it all at once…
Of course you can’t just chuck those old bulbs in with your glass recycling because they contain metal fibres, so what to do with them?
The Worsted Witch has the very creative idea of making them into decorations with the addition of a bit of paint and sparkle.
