NaBloPoMo – Day 16
Yesterday evening called for chips, no reason, it was just a burger & chips kind of evening. So I popped the chips into the oven, lovely chips they are, the only ingredients are potatoes & sunflower oil, it is ridiculously hard to find frozen chips with only 2 ingredients. Yes, I know I should just cut up some potatoes, but I was lazy….
Although, I also whittled up some bean burgers from Vegan Family Favourites using black beans and cannellini beans with lots of added curry powder for that extra oomph. That was quite unlazy of me I reckon.
These were served “mama-burger”-style on square bread (for all you Eddie Murphy fans, here’s the sketch on YouTube, very, very funny but contains colourful language so not for the office!).
Served with a non-alcoholic Erdinger beer, it was all very yummy. It looked a lot unhealthier than it was, actually it was quite healthy really. A side-salad would have been nice, but there were no side-salads in the vicinity at the time!
Here’s a really similar recipe for bean burgers from vegfamily.com

Why is that?
Your dinner, as usual, sounds terrific.
Really, can you come over and cook for us?
