… try to stop worrying and have faith in the Universe’s ability to work things out
I’m terrible for anticipating problems. We’re going on a great trip to London at the end of March, I could easily spend the next few weeks worying about how littlepixie will be or I could just wait and see. As Mr Halfpintpixie pointed out to me last night, 3 months ago littlepixie was barely walking, who knows what she’ll be like by the end of March, she might even be reciting poetry and doing Sudoko puzzles on the plane!
As the proverb goes “Worry gives a small thing a big shadow”.
… declutter the house
I have a split personality when it comes to clutter, I hate it but I’m a born hoarder, what a combination eh? I often keep things for some mysterious future use, but never use them. I’m going to collect all the “homeless” items that move from room to room and deal with them once and for all. I am not signing up for flylady because I signed up once and my email box filled up with her clutter within about 5 minutes, I shall however clean the kitchen sink every night.
My decluttering motto shall be William Morris’ “Have nothing in your home that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
… play lots & lots with littlepixie
We play lots now, but there is always room for more play & fun. I will make more opportunities for her to play with other children. I will go to more mother & toddler groups even though I find them uncomfortable, it’s odd in your 30’s meeting new groups of people but I shall persevere!
As Plato said many, many moons ago “You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.”
I’m sure there’s more but littlepixie is stirring, you’d think after keeping me up all night, she’d nap for more than 40 minutes, but alas, no!
