Pay It Forward

11 February, 2008 by halfpintpixie

My Pay It Forward gift arrived in the post this morning. No, I’m not talking about the movie, I haven’t seen it, that kid wreaks my head!bottletop

This PIF is a lovely gift from Nona at Everyday Yogini, it’s a Venetian Glass bottle stopper, here it is being modelled by a bottle of non-alcoholic beer. No, I don’t drink beer at 10:00 am, it’s an empty bottle from dinner last night which wanted to be a glamourous model before being recycled.

So, here’s the good news, I will now Pay it Forward to 3 of you lovely readers.

Leave me a comment saying something nice and at the weekend I will randomly select 3 of you to receive a little trinket from Galway. It won’t be handmade by me because I was absent the day crafting skills were distributed. But it will be lovely and chosen by me.

Excellent, thanks a million Nona! And everyone get commenting…. now what gift shall I get for you? Hmmm…..

    Something nice…
    I really enjoy your blog.
I love your links of usefulness and their little icons.
I am very happy for you that you got six hours of uninterrupted sleep. I remember the first time that happened with my twins. I woke up and cried I was so happy.
You are very generous for paying it forward.
    :)

Oooooo, how pretty! I love the PIF idea, it makes me think of this week’s “Random Acts of Kindness” celebration. Lots of nice things going on here http://www.actsofkindness.org/inspiration/stories/. Now, if only I was a real blogger (as it is now, I can barely keep up DS’s livejournal that’s meant to keep our Aussie family in the loop), I’d play along.

What a sweet idea. Something nice I would like to say about your blog is that I love how positive it is. You post useful ideas for those who want to live a more mindful life and you seem so appreciative of all the gifts that can be found in each new day. I really love checking out what you have posted each day.
