NaBloPoMo 2008 – Day 7
It’s International Babywearing Week soon and to celebrate it, AP EU Ireland & Babywearing Ireland have teamed up to host Ireland’s very first Babywearing Conference on Saturday 15th November.
There will be a babywearing fashion show, sling workshops and talks (including one on Kangaroo Care), and it should be a whole lot of fun!
There will be an amazing assortment of carriers to see there, including many of the beautiful Scandinavian carriers that are renowned worldwide for their comfort and strength. And we’ll all be bringing our own carriers to tote our babies & toddlers around in so it’ll be the perfect opportunity to see almost every type of carrier in one spot (and maybe even get to try some of them on too!)
So, if you’re in Ireland & interested in slings, why not pop along, it’ll be fun! Word on the grapevine is that the hotel has stocked up on non-alcoholic Erdinger beer for all of us rampant non-alcoholics, woohoo!
Now the dilemma is, which carrier should we bring with us?

It should be lovely. Every time I go to such a gathering,I feel like I’m in my tribe
Thanks for sharing the news about International Babywearing Week! I will definitely do my best to help other parents wear their babies and children and will likely post about the week too. Are you or do you know of any other blogs who may host a babywearing carnival?
All best,
Jessica
“Now the dilemma is, which carrier should we bring with us?” That is a HUGE dilemma (and I’m not really kidding – I would be thinking about that during the night…). Maybe your prettiest one?
Have fun. I am quite jealous.
Awesome! I bet there’s stuff going on around here…must look in to it.
