I’m a few days late, but I’d like to wish you all a Happy Lughnasadh. Autumn is very much in the air now, the leaves are crunching underfoot and a wee chill has crept into the night air.
We are enjoying beautiful early Autumn sun today, ahhh! We were in Dublin for the past few days but luckily the Autumn Fairies knew where to find us, and as we pottered around Stephen’s Green park, Littlepixie was delighted to discover a little family of Autumn Fairies at the base of her favourite tree there (she loves to run around that tree whenever we visit).

They have travelled home with us, and are now driving LP’s train, I’m not sure that was in their job spec but they seem to be having fun
Happy Autumn to all of us (or whatever season you celebrate at Lughnasadh!) And look to the left of the photos, some holly! Winter is on the way!

Awww, that is just so adorable. You’re so thoughtful to have informed the fairy folk where to find you in Dublin
. I actually got a shock to read “Happy Autumn”, as even though I know August is the start of Autumn I always feel it’s still summer. Hence my surprise at Autumn leaves in the zoo
.
Happy Lughnasadh!

Blessed Lughnasadh Pixie.
In Spain there are only two seasons; hot and hotter.
LOL!
I am in the UK for a couple of weeks at the end of August and I am really looking forward to Autumn there. It is my favourite time of the year.
We turned the heat on moments ago! It’s 16C, but it’s so damp we can’t get warmed up. I’m in HEAVEN!!
So, how do you pronounce Lughnasadh? I just call it Lammas because I can’t pronounce the Celtic word
.
Really missing our chats. Soooo much going on…shall we set a skype date??
I was so jealous when spring came to you in February but now that I have weeks left in summer, I don’t seem to mind it so much. ;+)
