I am currently sporting the latest in “stop nursing all day”-wear, the high necked jumper! I have noticed that when the goods are not on show, Littlepixie doesn’t ask to nurse as often. It’s also a little more complicated for her to gain access so she has started to limit the “drive-by” nursings that were [...]

It’s National Delurking week in the blogosphere, although Angela over at Breastfeeding 123 has dubbed it International Delurking week in my honour, thank you kindly Angela
And because I am such a fan of the Loch Ness monster, I will showcase Paper Napkin’s Lurkness Monster once more… love it!
Anyhoo, you pretty much all [...]

Today I introduced Littlepixie to finger painting. She loves colouring with crayons & pencils but hasn’t painted before mostly because for the last few months she has been very pernickety about getting mushy stuff on her hands, she didn’t like dirty hands at all. But over the last few days I’ve noticed her not being [...]
Edu-tainment…

Littlepixie has been a little under the weather for the past week or so, so we’ve been quite housebound. And myself & Mr.HPP have noticed LP getting increasingly bored with her surroundings. I watched her assemble a jigsaw last night and she was barely paying attention to it, she knew where all the pieces went, [...]

Littlepixie only slept 5-ish hours last night, we were up from about 04:30, it’s 08:30 now and she has nursed to sleep again, ahhhh…. peace. I’m browsing my Google Reader and enjoying the whine-free silence.
And I am reading an article on Kellymom which is exactly what I needed to read right now. I reckon some [...]

This may be interesting to those of you who are interested in such things as the return of fertility during breastfeeding. For everyone else, feel free to skip this post, you could read this article on the history of breastfeeding instead, it’s very interesting and thought-provoking!
Here’s a “more” tag (or not if you are reading [...]

I know this is my third post today, but I have been up since 2am, it’s been a very long day
Littlepixie told me a story this morning, she was so excited it took her about 10 minutes to get all the words out and she kept getting caught in loops of descriptions [...]

So now that I have lulled you all into a false sense of blissful crafting peace and happiness on my blog I will share some overly personal information with you. My bosoms are sore!
I have been having a lot of discomfort while nursing over the past few days and have been researching various theories (and [...]

I promise this is not turning into a “look what we made today” blog, I shall improve my blogging abilities soon again. In the meantime, look what we made yesterday
The weather is very wet these days so we are housebound and easily bored! So our felt board is getting lots of requests, [...]

It’ll come as no surprise to any of you that I have many, many, many scrappy pieces of left-over felt in my craft box. This morning I suddenly remembered a post that Cristy had written a few weeks ago that featured a fun-looking felt board. Our daughters are around the same age so I [...]
