Looks like fun! Svara loves getting messy, and also washing up. Unfortunately she also loves tasting art suppplies. We tried finger painting once. I think I’ll wait awhile longer to try it again!

I know what you mean about the VitaMix. I have a similar longing for a Dyson vacuum . We have a KitchenAide food processor and it’s lovely. Makes excellent, lump-free hummus.

Oh oh oh. I read her review too and wanted one so bad… and then I looked up the cost here in OZ (over $1000!!!) and changed my mind. Well, actually I still want one, but I really couldn’t justify that kind of money.

As for other suggestions… sorry I am not sure. My Braun handheld mixer with a little blender attachment thingy has served me very well for around 10 years now (and cost about $79 AUD), but I have seen many of handheld mixers die after less than a year…

Sounds like things are going well Pixie. I’ve just got back from the UK and I couldn’t get over just how cold it was, the days were dry (which is something) and we even saw blue sky and sunshine a fair few times so we managed some nice walks along the beach and in the forest.
Still…it’s always nice to get home.
Yep…walks are a nice way to spend time and all that fresh air will do wonders for LP.

I’m so envious! We hardly ever get to star gaze, as we live in a big city with lots of artificial light (and it’s overcast so much, too). Over Christmas, we were at my in-laws, and there was a skylight in our bedroom through which I could see Cygnus and the Pleiades. How I wish I could do that more often!!

I saw the post title in a link and had to click over to see what a weenus was. Too cute!

The Orion thing gave me goosebumps. It made me remember that we’re all sort of upside down on a giant ball. Eep!

Oh, and as an American, I _always_ pronounce Uranus the naughty way. Much more satisfying. I love that you were born in Uranus. Wow, that really does sound rude.
